Cham children playing games, Chau Doc, Vietnam. Final day in the Mekong Delta. We visited a cham minority village. When these children realised we weren’t going to buy their heart shaped waffles that, according to a sign, would give us ”cronic”, they returned to paying their games. Had fun and games on the Cambodian border after, on instruction, our group refused to pay the extra dollar demanded by the border control guy. Not a happy man…

The quarter Moon reflected in the waters of Reesor Lake, Alberta in Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. Taken on July 5, 2014. This is with the 14mm Rokinon lens and Canon 6D at ISO800. This is a high dynamic range stack of 6 exposures from 1/15 to 0.6 seconds taken just before using the camera to take a motion control time-lapse. The Moon was in conjunction with Mars (right of Moon) and Spica (left of Moon) but in the bright twilight they are not showing up here.

Mongols sing to their animals, there are lullabies to coax sheep to suckle their lambs songs to order a horse forward, make it stop or come closer and croons to control a goat, to milk a cow, or imitate a camels cry.
